How it works

Everything below is enforced by immutable contracts. There is no admin key over odds, taxes, caps or the pool.

Start here: five minutes

  1. Connect a wallet on Robinhood Chain (the button top-right adds the network). You need a little ETH for gas.
  2. Mint an inhabitant. The result is sealed by the next block and revealed within seconds: 90% Villager, 10% Vampire. You will be asked to read the disclaimer once.
  3. Stake it in the Bank. Villagers produce BLOOD every second; Vampires collect a share of every Villager claim.
  4. Claim when you like (Villagers keep 80%), or after 24 hours risk exit for 100% on a 50/50 roll. Vampires leave any time.
  5. Spend BLOOD: Gen 1 mints (burned, 10% theft risk), levels from your NFT cards, or swap in the pool.

The loop

  1. Mint. Gen 0 costs 0.0025 ETH (max 5 per wallet, IDs 1–5,000). Gen 1 (IDs 5,001–25,000) costs 20,000 / 40,000 / 60,000 BLOOD by tier, and that BLOOD is burned.
  2. Reveal. Your role is not decided in the mint transaction. The request is sealed against the hash of the next block; the keeper (or anyone) opens it a moment later. You cannot preview or re-roll a result, and neither can we.
  3. Stake. Send inhabitants to the Bank, no approval transaction needed. Villagers produce; Vampires collect.
  4. Claim or exit. Decide between steady 80% claims and the 24-hour all-or-nothing exit.

Villager (90%)

  • A Gen 0 Villager produces 10,000 BLOOD per day while staked during the first emission tranche; a Gen 1 Villager produces 8,000 (Gen 0 earns 25% more). Both rates halve at every 600M BLOOD emitted.
  • Ordinary claim: you receive 80%, 20% goes to the Vampire pool, and the 24-hour exit clock restarts.
  • Risk exit (after 24 hours since the last stake or claim): 50% you keep 100% untaxed, 50% you receive nothing and the Vampires take everything accrued. The NFT always returns to you.

Vampire (10%)

  • Has an Alpha of 5, 6, 7 or 8 (51 / 30 / 15 / 4%). Pool share is proportional to Alpha.
  • Earns the 20% tithe of every ordinary Villager claim and the full reward of every lost Villager exit.
  • Claims and unstakes instantly, no lock, no risk.
  • After Gen 1 opens, 10% of new mints are stolen and delivered to a staked Vampire chosen by Alpha weight.

Every inhabitant is unique

Traits are drawn with weighted rarities (a Bone Crown is far rarer than a Chestnut Crop), and the contract keeps a registry of every trait combination ever revealed. If a new inhabitant would look exactly like an existing one, only its look is re-rolled, its role, Alpha and theft outcome never change. The combination space is roughly 900,000 looks per role, so re-rolls are rare and duplicates are effectively impossible.

Where does BLOOD come from?

BLOOD is not pre-minted into a rewards pool. When a Villager claims, the Bank calls BloodToken.mintStaking and creates the tokens at that moment, the Bank is the only address allowed to mint, and its lifetime emission is hard-capped at 2,400,000,000 BLOOD.

The cap is paid out in four tranches of 600M. In the first tranche every staked Villager earns 10,000 BLOOD a day; at each tranche boundary the daily rate halves (5,000 → 2,500 → 1,250). Because every Villager earns the same rate, more stakers spend a tranche faster, the schedule is a budget, not a calendar. When the fourth tranche is exhausted, production stops for good and BLOOD becomes a fixed-supply token.

The only BLOOD that exists before the first claim is the 5,000,000 genesis liquidity that is paired with 1.588 ETH from Gen 0 sales into a permanently locked Uniswap v4 position when Gen 1 launches. Gen 1 mints burn BLOOD, so total supply can never exceed the 5,000,000,000 hard cap and in practice trends far below it.

Vampire rewards are the same freshly minted BLOOD: the 20% tithe is accounted to the Vampire pool at claim time and minted when a Vampire claims. If no Vampire is staked, the tithe accrues and is paid to the first Vampire that enters.

Bloodline levels

Any inhabitant can be raised from level 0 to level 4 by spending BLOOD. Villagers gain +25% production per level (level 4 doubles it): 20k / 40k / 80k / 160k BLOOD. Vampires gain +1 effective Alpha per level, a bigger tithe share and better theft odds, and pay double: 40k / 80k / 160k / 320k.

80% of every payment is burned, 20% goes to the creator. Levels are part of the NFT: they show in its metadata (blood drops in the corner), survive transfers, and a staked inhabitant is re-weighted the moment it levels up, BLOOD earned so far is frozen and paid with the next claim. The level ladder is fixed in the contract; nobody can change the prices.

Launch and liquidity

  • Gen 0 sellout starts a one-hour timer; afterwards anyone can call launchGen1.
  • It seeds a 1% BLOOD/ETH Uniswap v4 pool with 5,000,000 BLOOD + 1.588 ETH. The position NFT is locked forever; only trading fees can ever be collected, and they go to the creator.
  • A tiny guard hook prevents anyone from initialising or seeding the pool before the launch transaction. It has no admin and is inert afterwards.

What the owner can and cannot do

Can

  • Adjust the Gen 0 price and paid supply (never below the liquidity reserve).
  • Adjust the daily Villager rate and the minimum exit time.
  • Pause mint, stake and claim. Reveal, exit resolution and emergency withdrawal always work.
  • Withdraw Gen 0 ETH above the liquidity reserve and collect LP fees.
  • Wire each Phase 2 module exactly once (levels, a staking observer, a capped claim hook of at most 10%, a fee sink of at most 50%). Once set, a module address can never be changed or removed, and a faulty module cannot block staking, claiming or exits.

Cannot

  • Change role or Alpha odds, the 20% tithe, the 50% exit loss, theft odds or royalties.
  • Mint BLOOD, raise any cap, or add a minter.
  • Touch the liquidity principal or the pool price.
  • Move, freeze or blacklist anyone's NFT.
  • Upgrade any contract.

Fairness and risks

  • Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum Orbit rollup; ordinary block entropy is predictable there, so every roll is committed to a future L2 block hash and settled permissionlessly. A sequencer could in theory influence block hashes, this is the residual risk and it is documented rather than hidden.
  • Reveals and exit rolls must be settled within roughly 30 seconds of their block; if the window closes, the request is simply re-armed to the next block. The keeper does this for you, and the app lets you do it yourself.
  • BLOOD has no guaranteed value. Its sinks are Gen 1 mints, Bloodline levels and the pool.
